Curtis Abraham was the true spirit of this movement. Known for his unmatched work ethic and deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him, Curtis’s passion for his craft pushed him to remarkable heights. Tragically, on the morning of November 4, 2021, Curtis’s life was taken far too soon. While sitting in his car at a gas station, an individual approached and opened fire. The gunman then entered the store and fired additional rounds at customers. Curtis was the only victim of this senseless act.

In his memory, we carry forward his mission—to create, to inspire, and to tell powerful stories through film. It is not just our duty, but our honor, to continue the journey he started and ensure that his legacy lives on.
